You can learn RPA without programming knowledge. Have a look at this video and check the workflows – this is what you would be configuring most of the time.
If you decide to start out, we like to set some expectations:
- Realize that RPA is not simply drag-and-drop. It takes some logical thinking and some bit of technical knowledge to configure.
- RPA is also not record-and-play. In fact, leading RPA tool Blueprism does not have a recorder.
Having a technology background certainly helps as you build bots. The more complex ones need coding too.
